MRX battery system has been purpose designed to provide the perfect high performance on-board battery solution for LRV, metro, EMU, locomotive and high speed rail systems.
MRX battery has been developed in response to customers seeking even smaller, lighter battery packages optimised for maximum performance, reduced maintenance and low life cycle cost.

MRX Ni-Cd batteries use sintered/plastic bonded technology plates.
 Capacity range
Rated capacities from 70 Ah up to 260 Ah.
 Configuration
Three to ten cell blocks.
MATRICS batteries are available in blocks of three to 10 cells, running in parallel or series.
 Standards
MATRICS meets, and often exceeds, the specifications of all major international shock, vibration and electrical standards: IEC 60623, IEC 61343, EN 50155, NFF 60022, IEC 60077, GM/TTO 179.
MRX exceeds by more than 6 times the number of cycles required by the UIC 854 railway specifications minimum.
